Welcome students. This semester you will be reading several short stories, in our international anthology and elsewhere, written by a variety of contemporary writers. There will be cultural references in these stories that are vague or unfamiliar to you. You are to keep an ongoing journal that records these cultural references and a summary of your research journey to explain them.
1.Record the cultural reference.
2.Cite the source of the reference.
3.Research and write 3-4 sentences about your discoveries.
